Snoring keeping you up at night?
This spray is used at bedtime to reduce snoring. Snoring is largely due to the soft tissues in the throat partially obstructing the passage of air, leading to abrupt partial closure and forceful expulsion of air that builds up under some pressure, often in a vibrating manner.
Why are these two ingredients used?
Wild yam root (Dioscorea villosa) grows in eastern North America and in homeopathy is described as a digestive remedy especially for the liver. Ginger root is also chiefly a digestive remedy. This may lead to consideration of snoring as a problem relating to digestion. People with obesity or heaviness around the throat area are more prone to snoring and this physical presentation can also indicate the digestive connection. Spraying a digestive remedy into the nose and upper airways at bedtime can bring balance to the situation and decrease snoring tendency.
General treatment of the liver may also be of benefit, such as with the Uriel remedy, Fragaria Vitis tablets. For dosing, chew 4 tablets at bedtime. These tablets are composed of grape leaf and wild strawberry leaf.
